A Book worth the read

A good Tale is often retold. This is a retelling of a Tale we all know something about.. The Unsolved Mystery of Whitechapel Road Murders.

Everyone has a theory. Many Books have been written, movies made, and seminars given. Some of the top forensic minds have tried to name the culprit.. Yet Mr Mallows Takes the reader through the tale of a young man his life forever changed by a chance meeting that shows perhaps a different theory not even considered.

Looking forward to the next book, can tell this is not the end.

Loved this book!!!

I came across Wayne Mallow's facebook page by accident about a year ago and very happy I did. I love books about Vampires but was looking for something different. Something other than the mortal girl falling in love with the dashing vampire. I'm not knocking those kind of books but you will find something completely different with Whitechapel Road A Vampyre Tale. I loved how the author incorporated Jack the Ripper into his tale. I couldn't put the book down and I'm anxiously looking forward to it's sequel. I need to know what happened to Aremis and "Mary"...

A-FREAKING-MAZING

I just wanted to stop by and say how A-FREAKING-MAZING the book was.

The author's writing style is excellent and I was moved to tears early in the book. I look forward to following Wayne's writing for years to come.

Very impressed!

What a great book! -

I've always been a "ripper" fan, so I was excited to read this book. It is an interesting take on the old tale, with new twists and turns that keeps you on your toes the whole time! Read this book!!!

Okay so this has been a long time coming. I am a reader...really....I read a lot. I get so caught up in my books that I sometimes forget to feed my kids (just kidding...honest). If I am not enthralled by the end of the first chapter, I'm afraid the book gets tossed. I am a lover of all genres. I love horror, mystery, historical. I have even been known read the odd romance as long as the dude on the cover is wearing a kilt and brandishing a sword. I am a reader...and I LOVED WHITECHAPEL ROAD. I was reluctant to give it a try because honestly I have somewhat of a bias towards first time novelists. Also I like many others love vampires and I mean real vampires not vampires that sparkle.

I liked everything about this book. I cannot even imagine the research that went into it. The story of Jack the Ripper has been told so many times, but never like this, and I thought it was an amazing idea. The historical aspects of this book were perfect. The setting and characters were so detailed and real to me that I lost myself in it. I fell in love with Aremis. The emotions were very deep. I felt his anger, his sadness, his confusion and his acceptance. There was a bit of everything for me in this book: history, horror, vampires. What more could I ask for. The only problem I can possibly think that I had with it, is that I now have to wait for the second one and third books. Wayne Mallows is a great story teller!
